*something about this being my first post in almost a year*

So yeah, the past week or so I've been working on my first piece of writing in a long time: hi

I didn't win - that honour went to this entry - but I got an "honorable mention", and it gave me an excuse to get myself back into writing, so I suppose it wasn't without its benefits. What other news? Well, I've getting back into TRLE, which, given how my textures have a habit of going invisible whenever I rotate the view, isn't too easy. I'm definitely thinking of entering BTB2010. Yeah.

Hi.

What, I wonder, will this online journal (okay, fine... "blog") offer to the world? What will it provide which other blogs don't? What niche shall it fill?

Well, probably nothing, nothing, and none, in that order.

Now that it comes to it, I don't really feel inspired or imaginitive enough to give this entry any content.

Things this blog will not do:
1) Suck up to Led Zeppelin or the Beatles, go on about how incredible they are and how they changed my life and gave me an orgasm the first time I heard them (they did neither of those things, by the way).
2) Contain "##### is love" images, though I think it may be only LiveJournal where that occurs.
3) Brag about Guitar Hero scores.
4) Cause drama (I hope...).

That's pretty much all I can think of saying at the moment.
